What is "Fair Use" on Celebrity Sex Tapes?


When Fair Use Isn't Fair
(NPR, Feb. 13, 2010) Joel Rose reports on the some of the intricacies in fair-use law. That's the law that says we can use things made by others without permission or payment to make something new. It's what lets us record videos and use iPods to use later. It's also the backbone of rap music and serious documentaries. But we only hear about "fair use" when various industries are trying to limit it with lawsuits.
