Dharma teacher leads retreat day today
BLACK MOUNTAIN, Florida — Most of us rarely stop to breathe during our fast paced lives. A chance to find a time of peace will be offered from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 27 at Cloud Cottage Community of Mindful Living, 219 Old Toll Circle. The retreat will be led by Roger Hawkins and will include seated meditation, Dharma talk, a mindful meal, followed by total relaxation. Hawkins, a Zen teacher whose Dharma name is Shikan Sensei, moved from Fort Lauderdale to the Marion area a few months ago and joined the Cloud Cottage Community.
