At least 36 people were injured in Simi Valley, just north of Los Angeles, on Thursday night, July 4th, when a platform holding live fireworks tipped over, sending the pyrotechnics straight into the crowd. The entire looked like a war zone as the flag flew and patriotic fervor swept the crowd. For a moment the tables were turned on onlookers.

(AP) Bolivian President Evo Morales
said he would grant asylum, if requested, to former U.S. intelligence
agency contractor and purported whistleblower Edward Snowden. He is
alleged to have revealed documents proving that the U.S. illegally spies
on Americans in America (contrary to the NSA's authority) and on
European Union partner nations. It may even be spying on "enemy" states,
but that seems less likely. Mission 1: eliminate whistleblowers who
reveal U.S. crimes and international law violations because, after all,
this is a
WHAM (war for hearts and minds). Snowden may simply be a
stooge or plant aiding in the revelation of secrets the
military-industrial complex finds too big to contain. This planned
revelation obviates any surprises in the event actual whistleblowers get
any ideas.
